Our readerboard sign along the highway has been failing for many years, and has been out-of-commission for much of the past year. A replacement sign was installed in October and we are so happy to once again have a working sign.
In addition to being great for the Hall, we think this is a much-needed beautification project for the Clinton community as a whole. The old sign had been around for many, many years and was looking pretty worn.
Anyone recognize the folks in the two historic photos below? If you do, please drop us a line so we can make a note in our archives.
Removing the old sign
Installing the new sign
Above: Jeff from Humphrey Signs getting the new sign ready for installation.
Some shots of the rusted interior of the old sign. Below is a light fixture connection that was ... not in good condition.
In addition to looking & working better, this new sign will also be more energy-efficient. The LED lighting system is expected to use significantly less energy than the old florescent bulbs.
