A look back at a busy 2025

2025 has been a huge year us! We've accomplished so many capital improvements to the Hall, as well as many smaller details that all help to keep our facility in great shape for future generations. Your support helped make it all happen!

A partial list of accomplishments:

• Replaced our old forced air, propane furnace with a new heat pump heating/cooling system.

• Installed a solar system, along with battery backup and a new "smart" electrical panel. Our new system was featured in a South Whidbey Record article.

• Replaced our failing hot water heater with a new heat pump hot water heater.

• Held an Energize The Hall event to celebrate our electrification journey, and to kickstart fundraising for new windows at the Hall.

• Installed a new readerboard out front for our community messages.

• Remodeled the south end of the main Hall, modernizing and providing better storage space. Plus, an improved media closet.

• Installed new speakers on the south end of the Hall (thanks Jim Swan!).

• Widened the doors to the bathrooms, providing easier access for those in wheelchairs.

• Gave our utility room a cleanup and a facelift.

• Hosted our annual Mayfest celebration, and our second Clinton Summer Market (look for details on the upcoming Holiday Market below).

• Recruited several new board members (we're still looking for additional members interested in joining our board).

• Installed new blinds on the windows (well, okay, this one won't be done until next Tuesday, but we're very excited about it).

Keeping the Hall running and in good shape is a community volunteer effort. If you're interested in learning more about how you might be able to help, send us a note.
