South Whidbey Garden Club Awards Grant

We are very grateful for the $500 grant awarded to the Hall by the South Whidbey Garden Club.  We are making plans to rejuvenate our landscaping with updated irrigation, replaced plantings, and fresh bark.  This year the South Whidbey Garden Club has generously provided financial support to four Southend non-profit organizations. Other recipients included Tilth, The Commons, and the School Farm program.  The Garden Club is committed to sharing and stimulating the knowledge and love of horticulture in the community and to encourage study and appreciation of plants, pollinators and the preservation of natural environments.

The Clinton Progressive Association board is making a special effort this year to rejuvenate the landscape. As the Clinton Community Hall is situated at the top of the hill welcoming those traveling to and from the ferry, the Hall can be a visual focal point of the community.

We thank the South Whidbey Garden Club for their support of our community’s gathering place.
