Clinton Used Book Sale – August 17th

Saturday, August 17 is another chance to find a good read….10 am to 3 pm  at the Clinton Community Hall.  Then return in the evening at 6:30 to listen to new and favorite songs from musician, Bryan Stratton. Book sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Clinton Library.  And, Bryan Stratton’s performance is supported by funds raised by the book sales.  It’s a lovely, sustainable community cycle of books, music, and art....

Community Council Meeting open to all

On July 22nd from 6 – 8 pm… Clinton residents are welcome to join the meeting of the Clinton Community Council. Be part of making plans for the Clinton Community Picnic! The council is the ‘voice of our community’ as we interact with government entities. Their mission is: Promote a sense of community vision and pride for Clinton Facilitate communication between the Clinton community, Island County, and other governmental entities Initiate projects on behalf of the Clinton community in partnership with organizations such as, but not limited to, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and the Clinton Progressive Association Ensure that the wishes and desires of the community are carried out as we work with Island County Join their monthly meetings at the Clinton Community Hall. The Clinton Community Council has 13 representatives from eight island organizations and committees along with five members at large. The Council is the sponsor of the Clinton Community Picnic, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and the seasonal cleanup events at Dan Porter Park.   Visit their website to learn more:...

Sat. July 13th Silk workshop

Come to the Clinton Community Hall to learn how to Dye Silk Scarves!  SuSan Riedel will show you how to make beautiful, colorful scarves using Sharpies and isopropyl alcohol. You need to register online or speak to a staff member at the Clinton Library to participate. Wear clothing that you won’t mind getting stained.
